Adult Leaders (SM, ASM, CC, MC) are required to be trained for their positions.  In addition, the troop needs trained adults for various outdoor activities (eg, Health & Safety, First Aid, CPR, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, BSA Lifeguard, Climb On Safely, Climbing Instructor, Rangemaster, Hazardous Weather etc).
